Complete Streets for Toronto

CS_BANNER_NEW-01.png

Complete streets are designed to consider the needs of all users, such as people who walk, bicycle, take transit or drive, and people of varying ages and levels of ability. They also consider other uses like sidewalk cafés, street furniture, street trees, utilities, and stormwater management.

The City is working to develop Complete Streets Guidelines through staff, stakeholder and public engagement. Two stages of public engagement and outreach are planned for 2015, on the Guiding Principles in June, and on the Guidelines' designs in September or October.

You can find details on the wider project here.
